Locals and visitors from all over look forward to the annual Pensacola Beach Air Show held in the summer. The show highlights our hometown heroes – the Blue Angels – the U. S. Navy`s flight demonstration squadron stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. For nature-loving kids ages 8 to 13. Children will learn hands-on, STEAM and inquiry-based curriculum that encourages investigation and lasting learning experiences. Registration fee includes t-shirt, reusable water bottle, and all camp supplies. Help protect sea turtles and other imperiled species through a citizen science program that allows volunteers to take an active role in the war against marine debris. Volunteers collect trash from different areas along the 4.5 miles of Navarre Beach and record data that is forwarded to state and federal agencies. Meet in the main Navarre Beach Parking Lot near the Sand Crab Pavilion. Limited supplies of gloves, buckets and pickers are provided, or bring your own. Powerboats, fishing boats, pleasure boats, and all in between, will fill the Destin Florida waterways for one of the largest and most popular charity poker runs in the USA!
